Q: I want to get off my medication and manage my health holistically. Can you help?

A: Managing your medication is always something to speak to your doctor about. With that said, yes, you can improve your health through lifestyle changes and I have worked with clients to get off of medication. In these cases, your doctor is a key player and I can communicate with them if needed, to let them know what you are working on. I am not a physician and therefore I can not authorize those decisions with you. As a Board-Certified Holistic Health Coach, I can recommend and direct you to testing so that you can be empowered at the doctor's office. I also review those results and provide holistic recommendations. Always refer to your primary physician for any medical advice. Please keep in mind that while I do coach around mental health topics, my practicing scope is as a coach. Coaching is not a substitute for seeing a physician, therapy or other psychological services. Often times, a health coach is your trusted sidekick who can be an advocate and guide for your overall healthcare, communicating with your doctors (when necessary). If you have more questions or are unsure if this would be the best fit, let's chat.
