Course Length:
This is a 9 month, 18 class course.

Time Commitment:
The actual coursework and homework will take you less than 3 hours per month. It is important to note that you will be encouraged to practice what you learn in your daily life. The recommendations are focused on easily integrating into your life, inshaAllah. Classes are 1 hour long, twice a month (see schedule below). Classes are to be done at your own convenience, inshaAllah (no live classes).

Homework:
Modules will be released with each respective class (see below). Additional supplementary voice memos and Q&A sessions (as needed) will also be released. Each class has a homework assignment that will help you interact with the material, submit questions, and share your journey with me. Homework takes about 20 minutes per class inshaAllah.

The course is inspired and curated by combining the principles of Psychology, Neuroscience, Holistic Health and Islam.

Dear potential student,

If you are on this page, perhaps you struggle with either anxiety, unresolved trauma, or depression. Maybe you struggle with all three. Maybe you have a loved one who does. Regardless, let me tell you why this course is close to my heart. I've personally struggled with and risen above all three of these things, alhamdulilah and mashaAllah.

Maybe you are wondering why I chose to connect these three topics. While very different, anxiety, trauma, and depression have one very major commonality. They all steal the present moment from us. Anxiety keeps us living in the future. Depression keeps us stuck in the past. Trauma is a coin with two sides. One side transports us to dark and depressing past, the other side can keep us stuck, stagnant, and anxious about the future. They also all change the way our brain works.

It amazes me that most of us spent years learning about things like the Pythagorean theorem, photosynthesis, and a plethora of historical facts. Don't get me wrong. That stuff is important, especially for those who end up working in respective fields. What I don't get is why most of us never learned what I believe to be essential skills, such as successfully managing anxiety and overwhelm, understanding, healing and preventing depression, and working through life's guaranteed traumas.

The hardest part for many is how taboo it is and how little resources exist, especially for us Muslims. In this course, you'll receive tools, systems, and accountability, inshaAllah. My the objective of this class is to bring results into your life, inshaAllah. This is not just a place to collect information. Put in the time and you will see results inshaAllah. It's easy to feel bad for yourself. It's easy to hide. It's easy to dissociate from life's challenges. These things leave you empty. The hard alternatives fill you up and give you a return on your investment. Say no to self-pity. Show up. Engage. The pain is a door leading you to the next level of your life. You are not broken, nor do you need to be fixed. This is also not about perfection. We all have our moments. This is about remembering that we will return to Allah SWT and that our mind, body, and soul is a precious amana (trust). There is no shame in getting help if you are struggling with any of these things.
